Renewal

2 1/2 months aside, it feels like just yesterday that I posted here. Still, much time has elapsed; many events have transpired. Through it all, mood shifts have been prevalent; I'm particularly fascinated by how our hormones seemingly cater to the events which complement (or cumber) our current states. We've been joyous, we've been furious. We've been content, we've been miserable. We've been clowns, we've been serious. We've been lunatics, we've been sober. We've been intelligent, and we've imitated an arguably illiterate world leader. And through it all, we've somehow become stronger (or weaker, depending on your moral integrity and/or metabolic rate.) It never fails to amuse me!

That said, I've returned from an absence which many would deem inexcusable. May I take this opportunity to say: Bienvenue dos, moi!
